  • Apply different cooking methods        

  • Prepare a variety of healthy snacks, beverages, breakfast foods, salads, main dishes and desserts from scratch

  • Explore International cuisines

TUITION $350 per camper $50 discount for siblings

ABOUT THE CAMP INSTRUCTOR
Ariel Demas has been teaching hands-on lessons in nutrition, cooking, and gardening to children ages 4 to 14 for 16 years. She is a certified public school teacher and food educator, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Cornell University and a Master's degree in Education from Goddard College. Ariel grew up in Trumansburg, New York and has lived in Baltimore, Maryland since 2004, where she enjoys teaching over 800 students in PreK-8th grade at Hampstead Hill Academy, a public charter school in East Baltimore. Ariel is on the Board of Directors of the Julie Community Center and she works closely with the Food Studies Institute in various capacities including running the Culinary Adventure Camps.
