CULINARY CAMP COUNSELOR APPLICATION

Become a Culinary Adventure Camp Counselor!

This exciting opportunity is for teens ages 14 to 18 to gain experience as a camp counselor. You will assist the Camp Instructor and campers with hands-on cooking activities for 5 days, 5 hours a day. Help with set-up and clean-up every day. Homemade snack and lunch are included. This is a volunteer position for anyone interested in gaining leadership skills and cooking skills.

Complete the online application below. You will hear from the Camp Instructor, Ariel Demas, shortly after submitting your application to set up an interview in person or by phone. If you are offered the position and accept, you are required to attend the camp counselor training at your location. 

                                                            

Qualifications

Camp Counselors must be responsible, mature, honest, patient, have a positive attitude, and enjoy cooking and working with children ages 7-12. Counselors must have transportation to and from camp every day.

Responsibilities

  • Arrive at on time at 8:30 am and leave at 1:30 pm for 1 week, Monday-Friday

  • Help with set up and clean up

  • Wash dishes as needed

  • Assist campers with cooking activities

  • Supervise campers to ensure safe handling of knives and other cooking tools

  • Take pictures

  • Lead games during mid-morning break

All Summer 2020 Camps have been cancelled due to Covid-19. We are sad to miss the opportunity to work with your children this summer, but safety is our primary concern and we are hopeful to have the camp next summer.
